All our drones run on lithium batteries and we understand the importance of properly storing and handling these batteries. Lithium batteries can be dangerous if not handled properly, and can even start fires or in some cases cause explosions if they are damaged or mistreated. This is why we take extra precautions to keep our batteries safe and secure, both on and off our clients’ sites.

One of the most important things we do is store our batteries in fireproof containers. The same containers the army use to store their ammunition. These fireproof containers protect people and property from any battery fires or explosions, ultimately stopping the spread of any fire. We use a variety of different-sized containers to accommodate the different cell sizes of batteries we use in our flying equipment.

When we’re on our clients’ sites, we take extra precautions to ensure that our batteries are stored safely and securely. Making sure that our batteries are in good condition and not damaged in any way, and that they are stored in a location that is free from any potential hazards. This includes keeping them away from flammable materials or any sources of heat or flames.

Did you know – We keep a class D fire extinguisher with us on all drone projects?

All our lithium batteries are specifically designed for use in our equipment. This ensures that our batteries are reliable and long-lasting, and that they are less likely to suffer from issues that could lead to damage or overheating.

In addition to storing our batteries in fireproof containers and using high-quality batteries, we also regularly inspect and maintain our batteries to ensure that they are in good working condition. Each of the batteries are numbered and tracked. We perform regular checks on the batteries to ensure that they are not showing any signs of damage or wear, and we replace any batteries that are no longer functioning properly.

We take the safety of our batteries very seriously and go to great lengths to ensure that they are stored, handled, and maintained in the safest and most responsible way possible. This means, we can ensure that our equipment is always reliable and that our clients can have complete peace of mind when working with us.
