At Photos.co.uk, we don’t just take photos—we build visual experiences that help industrial and logistics developers market their sites with impact and clarity. One of our recent projects in Burton perfectly demonstrates this, where we spent a full day capturing three large-scale industrial units and transforming them into engaging, information-rich virtual tours.

THREE UNITS, ONE SHOOT DAY

From the smallest unit at 59,430 SQ FT to the largest at a commanding 173,356 SQ FT, our team executed a full-site shoot in a single day. Each building was captured in high resolution both inside and out, including detailed aerial drone footage to provide a powerful overview of every unit.

We deployed multiple drones in the air to ensure complete coverage—showcasing not only the front elevations and yards but also the surrounding environment. These aerial perspectives offer invaluable insight into the layout, accessibility, and scale of each unit within the wider park.

VIRTUAL TOURS, CUSTOM TAILORED FOR EACH UNIT

Each virtual tour we created was uniquely tailored to its respective building. We integrated on-screen call-outs to highlight critical location data—such as proximity to key motorways (M1, M6), A roads, and nearby cities—as well as entry points into the industrial park.

But it didn’t stop there. Inside each unit, we showcased:

  • Warehouse and office square footage

  • Yard depth

  • Number of car parking spaces

  • EV charging points

  • Dock level and level access doors

  • Lighting specifications

  • BREEAM and EPC ratings

  • Solar panel installations

These virtual tours act as an immersive digital brochure, giving potential occupiers everything they need to evaluate the suitability of the space—without ever stepping foot on site.

WHY VIRTUAL TOURS MATTER IN INDUSTRIAL REAL ESTATE

For industrial and logistics developers, virtual tours are no longer a nice-to-have—they’re a critical tool for marketing and engagement. Here’s why:

  • SAVES TIME AND TRAVEL: Decision-makers can tour the space remotely, reducing the need for multiple site visits.

  • BOOSTS VISIBILITY: Reach a wider audience, including overseas investors or tenants.

  • DRIVES FASTER DECISIONS: Detailed, interactive visuals help stakeholders quickly understand key features.

  • BRINGS EMPTY SPACES TO LIFE: It’s easier to picture operations in a space when you can ‘walk’ through it.

In a competitive market, standing out is essential—and a professionally produced virtual tour can make all the difference.

If you’re planning to market industrial or logistics units, or preparing for a new development launch, talk to Photos.co.uk. We’ll help you create a stunning, interactive experience that brings your space to life—and gets it let, sold, or seen faster.
